“Due to Haley’s Surge, DeSantis Loses Sole Possession of Second Place in GOP Presidential Nomination Race”
“Former Ambassador Nikki Haley Gains Traction in 2024 Republican Presidential Race”
Former South Carolina governor and U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley is seeing an uptick in her campaign for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination. While former President Donald Trump remains the frontrunner, Haley’s poll numbers are on the rise, both nationally and in key early voting states. In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital, Haley expressed confidence in her growing momentum.
Haley’s support doubled from 5% to 10% in a recent Fox News national poll, placing her in third position behind Trump at 59% and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis at 13%. Her surging popularity has elevated her to second place in some recent surveys in Iowa and New Hampshire.
To further bolster her campaign, an outside super PAC, Stand for America, is investing $6.6 million in ads in Iowa and New Hampshire. Despite this progress, DeSantis maintains a strong presence in the race and is making a new $2 million ad reservation in Iowa. Both candidates are actively working to secure voter support and emphasize the importance of earning their votes.
While former Texas Congressman Will Hurd withdrew from the race and endorsed Haley, DeSantis believes that candidates with a plausible path to victory should continue, while others facing steep odds may need to consider coalescing to strengthen the party’s chances in the 2024 presidential race.
